The driving records for New Jersey residents, including those who have DUI, DWI or drunk driving violations, are maintained by the Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC). They are kept in a document called a driver history abstract.
Residents can now ask for their driver history abstract online.
Citizens of the Garden State can also purchase a driver history abstract at an MVC Regional Service Center.
Or they can order one through the mail by completing a Driver History Abstract form (DO-21) and mailing it, along with a copy of their driver license and a check or money order for $10 to:
