Head Injury – Lawyer

A head injury can range from a mild concussion, to a serious fractured skull involving brain swelling. The usual cause of head injuries is a blow to the head or the head striking an object such as a car dashboard or windshield. When the object penetrates the skull the injury is immediate and obvious. When the injury does not involve the penetrating of the skull, it is known as a closed head injury.

The diagnosis of any type of head injury should be made as quickly as possible. When a head injury is untreated it can lead to severe complications, or even death. Head injury symptoms may include blurred vision, nausea, loss of memory and excessive sleepiness.

If the head injury is a result of the negligence or recklessness of another then the injured may be entitled to monetary compensation. An experienced lawyer can help the injured receive the financial compensation they deserve to help meet the medical expenses associated with a head injury.
